You can now send secure electronic messages from your computer or mobile device to your named GP.  This is via the Patient Access website or app. Your named GP will respond to your message within 2 working days.

We hope that patients will find this a convenient way to access advice and healthcare from the surgery. Please do not use it for urgent medical requests.

A video demonstrating how to use this service can be seen here.

More details about this and other online patient services can be found in the ONLINE SERVICES section of this website.

Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe Europe & Russia North America North America
Central America Central America South America South America
Caribbean Caribbean Africa Africa
Middle East Middle East Central Asia Central Asia
East Asia East Asia Australasia Australasia and Pacific

It is important to make this initial appt as early as possible to ensure availability of a practice nurse.  It is recommended to arrange this at least 6 weeks before travel as we may need to give you a course of vaccinations over 1 month.  If there is no nurse availability you may be advised to go to a private travel clinic.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
